When we had our babies, let's face it, we had no idea what we were doing! The little we knew about parenting came straight from our own upbringing.
The good, the bad, and the triggering!
Today, those triggers make us blow up like Mount Vesuvius at the sound of the siblings fighting, the sight of spilled milk on the floor, and the scattering of legos in the living room! We yell, scream, and threaten our kids in the heat of the moment. We say anything to make the frustrating behavior stop, and then......we feel guilt. We end up on this roller coaster of emotion and shame, and it feels like we can't get off. Our kids' emotional reactions begin to emulate ours, and they, too, get stuck on the roller coaster ride. Everyone is yelling at each other, there are frequent temper tantrums and tears, and you can't wait for bedtime when you can indulge your sorrows in a bottle of bubbles and some chocolate.
Mamas are doing the most demanding job on the planet, with no real training!!
No wonder we are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and burned-out. It doesn't have to be this hard, and it is time for a change!
And so, The Blueprint for Burned-Out Mamas was created.
The aim is to create emotionally healthy humans, one exhausted mama at a time! It is a program and community designed to improve the quality of life in your household and prepare your children for a successful future.
